Home Tavern: A Hidden Gem in Logan, Ohio

This tavern has a great menu with plenty of breakfast and lunch options. The rustic atmosphere adds to the charm. There was a bit of a wait during my visit, but the food was definitely worth it and reasonably priced. The host is a cool man, which made the experience even better.

Suggested by a local, they did not steer us wrong. This is a spot a bit higher end bar food, if you will. It's a large place with at least two bars inside and both enclosed and patio style outdoor seating areas. Our service was excellent, and the facility and restrooms were clean. The food was great and would give five stars however we were hoping to share sides but the sides were so limited in portion and not enough to share. Would return and recommend.

Absolutely loved this place! After a long day of hiking we were looking to grab a burger somewhere that didn't charge $20/plate. And we found it! The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The beer was cold and even MORE reasonably priced. And the staff was friendly and attentive! There are several large TVs which would make it a great spot for watching sports and there is plenty of seating inside and out. We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

Found this spot to stop for dinner after a day of hiking. Had great reviews and didn’t disappoint!! Servers were friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and good portion sizes. And prices were phenomenally affordable!! I had the wings with mild sauce and the tarvern burger. All was really good. Could it finish the burger so took half to go

Our first visit here and I am glad I read the reviews. I ordered the Philly cheese steak sub and it was delicious, also ordered the recommended onion rings but they are too pricey at $1 each. The order was $6 and that is a little steep for 6 onion rings, but they are very good. We will definitely come again, a nice place to have lunch.

A very good place to stop for lunch/dinner. Service is very good even though they were fairly busy. The food was very good and hot. We had stopped by for dinner, but looking at the menu, I plan on stopping back for breakfast.

Very funny how we stumbled on to the Home Tavern. It was a Sunday evening, we had been in Hocking Hills Park and were looking for some dinner. We ended up at a restaurant, sat down, and were told the kitchen was closed. One of the locals said Home Tavern is the place to go. So that is where we went. It wasn't too busy when we arrived. We were able to get a table. The menu was huge, the prices were very good (we thought it was a very old menu). The food was excellent, it came out hot, and was very tasty. There is tons of parking and it was fairly easy to find. When we return, this will be a go-to place. The other suggestion was to hit it for breakfast. Next time!

Our family tried this place for the 1st time tonight. We arrived at about 7pm with a 7yo. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable even if one may assume it is more of a bar. We tried the hot garlic wings, breadsticks, Reuben, curly fries w cheese, philly steak, and hot cheese balls. Everything was great and came out quickly and fresh. Their ranch sauce is good, but the blue cheese is a packet. The food is priced well and the beer is cold and well priced too. Lydia is extremely attentive, well informed about the menu, and great with kids. We will be back in a week or so. Great find!
